It finally happened and it was quite an operation. Hobart residents and visitors watched and talked about the clean-up. This was the most aggressive attempt ever. 2.8 million dollars were budgeted, over a mile of pipeline was been laid out, a specialized boat was brought in, and silt traps are being put in place. The lake is large and presented a very big challenge. We want to thank the dredging team and all those who supported the Lake George cleanup! *** Update 2019: Was the dredging a success?
